The Van Deer SL is the everyday-friendly counterpart to Marcel Hirscher's SL World Cup — same 117-66-102 mm at 155 cm / 118.5-67.5-103.5 mm at 165 cm sidecut geometry and torsion box sandwich construction with ash-poplar wood core and double Titanal, but with thicker edges, a durable corund topsheet and a tuning that favors daily piste use over race intensity. Two lengths only. Weights are 1950 g (155) and 2230 g (165). Ships with the COMP 13 FDT GW binding.

On-snow performance

At 66-67.5 mm underfoot with double Titanal, the SL delivers slalom-race edge grip with a slightly softer, more forgiving flex than the SL World Cup. Short 11-12.5 m radii carve tight arcs on groomers. Off piste is not a use case. On piste it rewards competent short-turn technique without demanding elite fitness.
