The Cloud C12 targets confident intermediates through advanced piste skiers who value clean arcs and calm manners at speed. It feels light underfoot yet remains impressively composed as the pace rises. This is a ski that encourages high‑edge angles and precise line choice, rewarding good technique without being punishing. Feedback is lively but not harsh, so you can carve for hours with minimal fatigue. If your winter is mostly groomers and you enjoy that race‑inspired locked‑in sensation, this model delivers a dependable, refined experience.
Edge hold on hard snow is the standout. With full camber underfoot, the edge bites securely on firm morning corduroy and mid‑day refrozen patches, aided by torsional stiffness from a Ti laminate. The Revoshock C module notably filters high‑frequency vibration, keeping the ski settled at speed and composed through the apex. It’s excellent on smooth to moderately chopped groomers, but less at home in deeper soft snow or heavier, pushed‑around piles. Make no mistake, this is a groomer specialist with a distinctly race‑leaning personality.
Edge‑to‑edge quickness is a real highlight thanks to the 69–70 mm waist, making short to medium turns effortless. The reference radius around 13.9 m (161 cm) feels versatile: energetic, short‑radius rhythms are easy, while longer arcs come alive with a touch more speed. There’s a healthy top‑end for its class without the relentless, locked‑in feel of a true GS board. Compared with peers like the S/Max 10, Nova 10 Ti, and Super Joy, the Cloud C12 matches precision yet runs a touch more forgiving and less demanding day to day.
Construction blends a lightweight wood core with a metal reinforcement for stability. The Revoshock C array up front tames chatter and adds a smooth, springy release from the turn. A sandwich/cap sidewall underfoot bolsters edge grip and durability, while the World Cup‑finished sintered base stays fast with regular wax. Many packages include M 10 GW bindings for convenient setup and a tidy, integrated feel. The net result is a modern, agile, and composed piste tool that balances liveliness with damping better than most in this class.
Key specs and what they mean: Active Camber (0/100/0) equals full camber for maximum edge hold and energetic rebound. Sidecut (about 111.5‑70‑100 mm at 160/161 cm) dictates how quickly the ski rolls into a turn and how stable it tracks. A radius near 13.9 m points to medium‑radius carving with flexibility for shorter swings. Weight around 2,175–2,183 g per ski adds calm without feeling heavy. Available lengths near 146/147, 153/154, 160/161, and 167/168 cm: size down for agility, up for stability. Minor spec variations by season are normal.
