The BIAFO 88 is the women's TERRA-line touring 88 — 88 mm waist, 10.2 m radius, 1,350 g per ski at 159 cm. Same 125/88/112 mm sidecut and 10.2 m radius as the unisex TX88, but built with a semi-cap sandwich construction over paulownia + carbon wrap and tuned with shorter lengths (151-167 cm) for the biomechanics of female skiers entering or experienced in touring.

On the up the BIAFO 88 sits between the lightest TX88 (1,120 g) and the durability-tier TX88 UP (1,245 g) — at 1,350 g it is the heaviest of the trio but still firmly in usable tour territory for shorter female skiers. On the descent the semi-cap sandwich construction adds underfoot damping the lightest TX88 lacks, and the 10.2 m sidecut keeps kick turns and tight switchbacks easy. The Hook Free shovel and tail forgive bad inputs on tired-leg afternoons. Push it through hard refreeze and the lighter wrap shows as some chatter, but for skiers in the TERRA target range it is the right balance of confidence and weight.
