Overview

On-snow performance
Uphill, the Transalp RC vanishes under the foot — at roughly 640 g per ski in 161 cm it is among the lightest published numbers in the segment. The 64-65 mm waist keeps the lever short for steep, firm skintracks, while the milled paulownia core sheds weight without giving up the longitudinal feel of a wood ski. Downhill, classic camber and the titanal insert keep edge contact continuous: hold is confident on chalk, corn and refrozen race courses, and the 3°/1° race bevels reward an active, forward stance.
