This ski targets piste-focused skiers who want a light, forgiving, and precise carver. Its low weight makes quick, short-to-medium turns effortless, while Revoshock Light effectively damps vibration on busy groomers. Flex is progressive enough to forgive mistakes yet still provides solid edge grip for advanced cruisers. It will venture off the side in softer snow, but its heart lives on prepared slopes. If you value comfort, clean turn finishes, and low fatigue over a full day, this is a particularly capable daily driver.
On hardpack, the 72 mm waist feels lightning fast edge to edge, inspiring confidence in short, carved turns. Active Camber keeps more edge in contact, so you get grip with modest input. The short radii by length invite rhythmic, slalom-like arcs, yet the ski remains calm if you lengthen the turn. The tip engages without twitchiness and the tail finishes cleanly. It isn’t as explosive as a race ski, but it is far more accessible for longer days and for skiers refining technique.
Damping is the quiet hero. Revoshock Light filters high-frequency chatter on ridges and mixed cord, keeping the ride calmer than its weight suggests. The Titanium Stabilizer helps hold an edge as speeds climb. There is a realistic ceiling: very aggressive skiers or true top speeds in late-day chop will expose some nervousness, and the light build can be deflected. Off-piste float is limited; in deeper or heavy snow you’ll need deliberate technique or slower speeds. Stay on groomers and it rewards with stability that belies its friendly flex.
Choose length by speed and skill. Most skiers will land on 150 or 157 cm for a balance of agility and stability; 143 cm suits lighter, cautious riders; 164 cm fits faster or heavier skiers. The bundled M10 GripWalk binding is user-friendly, light, and tuned for all-round piste use. The Leisure Trak plate supports a smooth flex and easy step-in. Together, the setup feels set-and-forget, requiring minimal tinkering and making daily use simple from the first lift to the last run.
Specs that matter: Active Camber (0/100/0) delivers precise hard-snow edge hold. Sidecut around 114–118 mm tip, 72 mm waist, and 99–103 mm tail brings quick initiation with supportive finishes. Turn radius runs 11.5 m (143) to 13.9 m (164) for lively, quick arcs. Weight around 2.3–2.4 kg per ski keeps swing weight low. Dura Cap Sidewall boosts grip and durability; Light Woodcore and Densolite add damping without bulk. Compared with Cloud C7 it is stronger and grippier; versus Cloud C12 it’s more forgiving, less demanding, and easier to live with.
